This Week in Pictures

A full moon at night...

A beautiful sunrise the next morning.

A tiny bit of color starting to "pop" in the yard!

The first tulip is almost ready to open.
Obviously his "bed" needs some work as
soon as the ground dries a little bit.

The pussy willows...finally inside the house!

Spring is finally here!

Please take a moment to visit Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer for
Outdoor Wednesday. I'm sure there will be some beautiful spring photos this week.

Truly such pretty pictures. Our yard is at the same stage as yours. We must live close. I also cut some pussy willow stems to bring in and use in my arrangements. I'm also trying to root some for a friend.

Beautiful pictures Sue! I love the moon and the pussy willows were always one of my favorites. Grandmother had them, but I don't see them anymore. They make a fun display.

Wonderful spring images. You are way ahead of us -- our flowers are mostly just green shoots, still, and right now they are covered in 6-inches of snow! Nuts.

LOVE the supermoon photos!!

Also - Chia Seeds are all the rage here in Boulder. They're actually the things people used to grow in shapes of heads and stuff...remember the TV ads? But they've got a TON of fiber, protean and more Omega 3's than salmon. Plus they turn into little gelatinous balls after 10 minutes in liquid and they're fun to eat!

March's full moon is called the Worm Moon because the earthworms are preparing your garden for spring!!! :D

Love the photos and I had thought Spring had Sprung, but they are calling for temps in the 30's and maybe snow for the weekend in KY! I am still holding out hope for Spring

Hi Sue!

Gorgeous photos! Thank you for a sneek peek of Spring, as it's pouring buckets here in CA today!! Hubby and I are nice and cozy at our cabin in the mountains. I don't comment often, but always follow your blog. The comments you leave me are greatly appreciated! I know my blog is quite different from your "normal" followers, hopefully one day mine will change to decorating and home life, which are my true passions... Love to you!

Fabulous pictures all of them!

Hi Sue!
Oh you're so fortunate to have spring right there at your doorstep!
We are expecting snow tonight {again} ... hopefully not more than a couple of inches... but who knows!
Your forsythia is beautiful as are your growing spring bulbs!

Happy Spring to you*

Beautiful moon shot...
We can tell it's spring here, too, by the wind and sand storms. Spring is NOT a pretty sight out here in West Texas during the blowing dirt.
I worked in the yard some yesterday and am always surprised how good it looks with just a LITTLE work. Now, as soon as I can, I will fill containers with pretty blossoms. :))
