Met Monday (Sort of a stretch) and a Review

Met Monday with Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch is a fun meme where we can show something we have turned into something else. In most cases it might be an old piece of furniture, an outdated craft turned cool again or a room redo. I didn't have any of that today...but, I did have something I wanted to share. I didn't exactly do the metamorphosis on my "item", someone else did.

It started with the cutest beagle pup,
who looked like this back in 1996.

Today, she looks like this...and she didn't
want to stop eating that biscuit to pose for me.

Most of you saw the picture where the spoiled
brat hid from us, under the throw pillows on our bed.
She didn't win Fifi Flowers contest with this picture...

She is, however, feeling a bit like a rock star
after receiving her portrait painted by Ms. Fifi this week.

I just don't know how we are supposed to put up with her now!

I'm also joining Mary @ Little Red House for Mosaic Monday

If your want your pup to feel like a rock star too...visit Fifi Flowers by clicking here!

*I wasn't compensated for showing off my pup's picture today. I bought mine!

I also wanted to share today a review of a few items I recently received from CSNstores.com. They did provide me with the merchandise and my only expense was a few dollars for shipping. What I received was the 9" Square Baking Dish with Bonus 5" Baking Dish in Caribbean and an 18-Ounce Small Oval Serving Bowl in Caribbean from Le Creuset. They are from the cookware.com store at csnstores.com. CSN has over 200 stores and as most bloggers know, they carry everything!

These were my first pieces of Le Creuset and I was very excited to try them. I have nothing but good things to say about the ordering process and the items I received. Ordering was very easy and my order shipped within 2 days. I had my items within a week and everything was in packaged perfectly. I wanted to actually use the items before writing about them. I decided to bake an apple cake in the 9" baker. The cake wasn't blog worthy (it isn't the one I posted Friday) but it baked beautifully in the pan. It was also very easy to clean after the cake was gone.

The bowl is cute. It is the perfect size for the homemade applesauce that I put in it, or any other small side dish. I also used the 5" baker for leftovers. It is a great size for a single serving piece of lasagne or leftover casserole to heat the next day.

I appreciate the fact that I've been able to host a few giveaways from csnstores.com and now I've had to opportunity to review some of their products. Take a moment to visit their website, you will not be disappointed.

Sue, that artwork of your doggie is so cute. I am glad you had that done. I don't own any le creuset either except for my tea kettle which was a gift. I wish csn would contact me. Have a super day.

Love the pup and the pic! Both adorable ( even all grown up) I had 2 beagles when I was small.

Mac and Mac II

I keep seeing this csn stuff on all the blogs. Guess I should learn what it is all about. I rarely enter giveaways or have them so maybe I'm just too far out of the loop?

Your girl still cracks me up :)
I know what you mean about keeping up with followers and just those that pop into the blog to say something. Like Susan over at Between Naps On The Porch. She has all those followers, but she does come by every so often. I don't know how she does it. I have noticed some with large following have their moderation set so they have to look at each comment that comes thru. I know that is a security thing, but that would help. I do take each day and read a few past posts on a certain # of blogs and chat/comment on the most current post of all the goings on there. During the month I do hit everyone with days to spare. Now when someone takes the time to sit and visit my blog I drop what I'm doing and definatley take the time to drop a line that day. My Jim one night came in the TV room and said...You know it's midnight? Are finally comin in? I was looking up an answer to something someone asked. He started to look thru my blog...he never looks really, but that night he did. He looked up and had a surprized look on his face....Who are all those people?
I explained about the Google Friends/Followers.
He smiled and said you have 75 ladies who talk back and forth from all over the Country? I informed him he missed the one man..Bill..from Tn. and those from Cananda. Well, after about and hour neither of us could keep our eyes open, but he got to meet some of the blogs....some had car posts he got a kick out of that....and know he doesn't complain so much about being on.

Your pup is such a sweetie. We're not totally sure since we found Autumn on the street, but I think she's part beagle. Seeing your puppy reminded me when Autumn was a tiny hairy girl. She's still hairy, but no longer tiny- today is her 6th birthday!

I love Le Creuset stoneware. I have several pieces and am happy with them.

There is a similar set in Aubergine that I have been lusting after for months now.
