Sunrise Moments

In the first light of the morning
There is a certain stillness
All alone with my thoughts
The rest of the world sleeps

Quiet is a gentle hand
That soothes my soul too seldom
In a world that is so cluttered
With noise that doesn't cease

Anything seems possible
In daylight's early hours
I hope to carry through the day
This calming sense of peace

Hi Sue!
I love quiet... sometimes I don't even want the radio on. After work, talking all day there... It's so nice to just be still ~ love the calm of this poem ~

The pitcher is so pretty, simple lines and pure.

Wishing you more calm and quiet moments!

That is, indeed, a thrifty bargain. I LOVE white pitchers. Just redid my mantel today, using all white...

That soothes my soul too seldom"...and pay attention to.

Beautiful poem Sue, did you write that? It's perfect. I love the early morning hours and as you know, it is my favorite time to be on the beach. Greet the dawn…my motto, there is no better time to collect your thoughts and feel a sense of peace. I'm glad you're finding time for that, I know you need it.

Hugs
