Take a Walk With Me

I thought I would take you on a walk around my yard today. I want to show you my little desert garden. My husband made me a very shabby box from old wood and he added a little worn looking paint. We mixed a little sand in with some potting soil and topped it with rocks found in the fish section of Walmart. I love succulents this year, so I found some interesting ones at an area nursery and added them to my garden. They said I only needed to water this twice a month...maybe I won't kill it!

Some people put fairies in their gardens, but mine seem to need a gnome.

Who needed a place to live. See his rusty watering can?
Color has finally shown up at my house!

Just a hint of MICKEY!

I just love it when everything starts blooming.
I even found a "blooming" rug for the deck. It really is just one color, but the house is shading part of it.
     Today I am joining:
Kim @ Savvy Southern Style for Wow Us Wednesdays
and Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday.

Your flowers are beautiful, love the "touch" of Mickey, we all need a little Disney now and again, and your rug is great. I am going to plant some succulents too, I think, in a pot. Hope the weather is holding up well over there, Sue. xo

You have some beauties. I still need to go buy some and plant them. Maybe this weekend. I am so behind.

Good Morning Sue Sweetie...
Oh thank you so much for taking me on this wonderful stroll today. I had so much fun. I love your succulent garden. You will enjoy the low maintenance. I see a few familiar plants in there.

You have so many colorful flowers. I love the variety of choices you planted. I could stroll along for hours. I can't thank you enough for sharing with me this morning.

Love that new patio rug as well. Blue is one of my favorite colors, so I believe I would have chosen that one as well. Beautiful share Sue. Just beautiful.

Have a glorious weekend. Many hugs, smiles and much love, Sherry
