A Little Late With the Tablescape! Giveaway!

I know it is a little late in the day to be posting my tablescape, but things have been a bit of a mess at our house. The above picture might give you a hint as to what has been going on in my kitchen all week. So, until this afternoon...all my kitchen stuff was sitting on my table. You can see the finished project on Monday.

I brought in some flowers from my yard and
the table just screamed for a tablescape to go with them.

This is a no muss, no fuss tablescape. The table runner is a HomeGoods purchase and was busy enough that I didn't feel as if it needed anything else for a simple dinner with family.

You've seen all the dishes before. White American Atilier square plates, topped with a lush floral dinner plate marked simply "Fine China" and 10 Strawberry Street salad plates.

The flatware was purchased at the same
time as the floral plates, on sale at Ross.

The napkins have the same shades of pink as the plates.

The star of the table is a simple white pitcher
filled with fresh flowers from my yard.

Iris, roses, honeysuckle and peonies.

The antique goblets in pale pink were
found in a cabinet at my in-law's home.

I am joining Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch
for Tablescape Thursday!

I think if my kitchen was getting done I wouldn't worry about putting together a tablescape. It is mighty pretty though. Gorgeous colors.

I agree with the above comment, but it just shows how really organized you are! Beautiful setting, and the flowers are great. That rose is stunning. xo,

You are much more organized and "got it together" than me. My kitchen being worked on ?? What kind of take out would you like. :D
Your table setting is pretty and very Spring looking. Thanks for sharing your very pretty flowers.
Enjoy your weekend.

Believe me, I'm not that organized right now. The backsplash was finished last night, and after having things messed up all week I was ready for the table to look at least a little bit pretty. I didn't think very hard on this one-I have all my whites in the kitchen cabinets!

Your flowers are so pretty! I love how you have accented them with this tablesetting. The green placemats balance out the colors nicely. I love the AA square plates mixed in the stack. I really like your flatware, too, and how great it looks with these plates and on the green placemats.

Another wonderful tablescape and gorgeous flowers!

I love how you mix the shapes and patterns — the round placemats and the square plates just set off all your other pieces so beautifully.
