Where Am I?

I think many of us are having trouble keeping up with our blogs this week. I certainly hope I'm not the only one who is having trouble finding time to write, post and visit my blog friends. I hope you are all enjoying family and friends, have the packages wrapped and the chestnuts roasting. I thought I'd share a few pictures this week of what we are doing for the holidays. We had Christmas with my son and grandkids last week. My son is at home and will be joined tomorrow by my dad. We will be putting him on a plane in the morning, for now he is with us. So, my sister and her family, my dad and my son will all be together for Christmas. My husband, my daughter (who has to work a few hours on Christmas Day) and I will be seeing things like this...

Mary Poppins! Isn't she pretty?

The chocolate carousel at the Beach Club Resort.
This horse is names Shelly, do you see the seashells?
This one made me think of Rhonda @ Shellbelle's Tiki Hut.

Chip and Dale's Chocolate House...it was spinning, sorry for the blur.

The Beach Club tree.

Don't let the "warmth" fool you. It is a bit brisk at WDW right now.
It is in the 60's in the daytime, but down in the 30's at night.

The tree at the WDW Yacht Club.

The lighting made it difficult to photograph the train.
Wouldn't my little grandson's love this?

Can you see the water tower? It is a snowman.

I loved this window display at the tea shop at Epcot.
I heard some woman complaining that it didn't look
lik Christmas. Well, it certainly did to me!

This is the new shop in Epcot's Germany. It is Werther's Caramel Shop. Caramel covered everything! Corn, apples, strawberries, cupcakes, various candies and cookies all being made as you watch. You can only imagine the smell! I had a chocolate cupcake piled high with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel. Yum!

We ended last night with a performance of the Disney Choir (in green) along with area high school choirs singing carols while the Christmas Story is being told by Trace Adkins. My daughter sings with the Disney Choir. Trace did a wonderful job, his voice was perfect to tell The Story.

Don't forget to sign up for my GIVEAWAY!
You might just win a present for yourself!

I'm going to join Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life for Table Top Tuesday
and Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday

Oh my goodness! A chocolate carousel horse named Shelly AND she's so beautifully adorned with seashells? I LOVE her and thanks so much for posting her pic and thinking of me. I'm going to HAVE to go see her when I'm there next week for sure.

Looks like you're having a wonderful time, despite this weather we're having. Enjoy every minute! I hope you get a chance to see ICE this year, now honey, that's COLD!

Sue - looks like a wonderful (and indulgent...I want some of that chocolate and caramel!) Christmas :)

I'm having a hard time keeping up with the blog as of late, too, but I'm hoping I'll be better in 2011.

Happy New Year!
