Seeking Fall

In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail!
Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The grey smoke towers.
Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all!
Flowers in the summer,
Fires in the fall!

Autumn Fires
by Robert Louis Stevenson

I'll be looking for fall this weekend...what will you be doing?

Sue, I think it has arrived in Texas...at least for the weekend. High today 55' and about the same tomorrow. Love it!

What a darling picture! I had a few errands to run but now I am just snuggling inside with the dogs, wondering what sort of cold weather food I can make for dinner! It's 45!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

XO,
Jane

That is gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing, Sue.

Just said another prayer for Luke and his family. I want to see him HEALED.

I love this poem.

And your beautiful graphic.

I will be looking for fall next weekend when we'll be going to Oregon to see our sweet little Grandson!

Did you find it? We usually have the perfect fall....a slow transition....but all of a sudden on Sunday the temps dropped about 30 degrees and it's been raining an damp cold.....I think we're going to warm up a bit and see the sun tomorrow....that's more like it!

We ran errands. One of those included buying a pumpkin!
