Hope Through the Frost

There were a few surprises waiting for me in my yard this morning. As sunlight glittered on the layer of frost, I found my first "crop" of pussy willows will soon be ready to come inside. Buds are beginning to appear on the tree branches and the first signs of tulips are peeking through the ground. It won't be long before the dull and brown landscape bursts into brilliant color. I can't wait!

I am joining Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer
for Outdoor Wednesday. Please visit our hostess
and see what is going on this week in Blogland.

I'm also joining The Tablescaper for
Seasonal Sundays.

O, Suz...has SPRING SPRUNG there? Yes, I think it has. Just look at all those delightful signs.
I need to take the time to "smell the roses" and see if I have any of these SPRING SIGNS.

Oh, wow, that is encouraging! We are in another cold spell this week and there is at least 2 feet of snow covering my flower beds, so I will have to enjoy seeing yours :)

I've been wanting to plant Tulips for awhile. Maybe this will be the year! All my day lillies & irises are starting to pop out of the ground too. I can't wait for everything to start blooming.

A sure sign of Spring. I was out and about yesterday and was surprised at so many trees in bloom already.

Sometimes a photo touches me very deeply, and your first one did just that this morning. Just beautiful - thank you....and beautifully titled too.

After reading you blog I actually put on my coat and walked around the house - still snow knee deep. Soon, very soon, I'll be able to enjoy those wonderful teasers of the spring to come. Thanks for sharing!

I never used to pay that much attention to the little signs of spring until I started reading blogs. Looks like it's on it's way. Great photos.

I am always amazed by what a difference a hundred miles can make. Nothing spring up here. Everything is still dead, still brown and still ugly :(

Glad you are coming to the party! Wouldn't be the same without you!
