Cotton Candy Sky

We have been having a heat wave in Illinois the past several days. Last night, a storm rolled in and things got dark, wet and ugly for a while. After that...

We shall find peace.
We shall hear angels,
we shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.
Anton Chekhov

I am joining Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer
for Outdoor Wednesday.
Please stop and say hello to our hostess!

I saw that sky last night......but still went for a walk. Got a little rained on, but it felt good. Your pictures are awsome:)

These photos are just GORGEOUS, Sue!
Isn't it amazing when we are looking upward at just the right time! A few moments later and that beautiful sky vanishes into gray.
I love these divine appointments!

You should post this for Sky Watch Friday!

It starts tomorrow at 2:30

I hope you are having a lovely summer with lots of sweet moments~

Love the cotton candy sky shots, Sue.

I just saw your previous post. I have to switch back and forth with IE and Firefox also. Interesting dilemma to say the least!

Oh My...that SKY!! Wonderful captures of God's handiwork, Sue.

I also enjoyed reading about your trip to cash in your coins. Very informative.

I hope you do try the warm potato salad, even without the garlic. I'm sure you'll like it.

fondly,
Rett

What a beautiful sky. I've always said that it's clouds that make a sunset.
