During the winter months, some of my Florida things get tucked away or moved around the house to make room for the winter look. In my hallway is an antique legal bookcase. For the past several months, it has been home to a few of my favorite "beachy" things. The aqua colors and the items that remind me of the ocean are soothing during the sub-zero temperatures that are visiting us today.
The palm tree was purchased many years ago at a Marriott Hotel gift shop, the sea urchin candle was a blog win from Kat @ Low Tide High Style and the votive was an after Christmas purchase at Z Gallerie.
A bowl embellished with shells and filled with sea glass, simple candlesticks and my favorite real shell complete the vignette.
Please stop in and visit her today.

Looking at this must make you feel just a bit warmer today.
All your pieces are beautiful, but that palm tree is stunning, I just love it.
Sue, those colors are beautiful. Love the shell print.
Love that color with the white. Think seeing your vignette helped take the chill off - maybe a little bit. :D
Sue, I am loving these gorgeous colors!
Sue, I love aquas, almost as much as my favorite greens...that palm tree is really cool.
I love the aqua colors, Sue. This was great to look at on a 17 degree day!
XO,

What a pretty vignette, Sue! The shell is stunning..., and a great win is in the mix too.
Beautiful vignette, Sue! I do like seeing snow, but enough already! Ocean waves and a warm, sandy beach are sounding better and better ... and better!
Love the aqua color. Each item is so interesting and such a beautiful vignette. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Aqua is so soothing & enlightening. It opens our minds, imo. Very pretty, Sue, & such a nice win too!
Oh Sue. I love this!
I've never seen a palm tree like that. I love the beach and my aunt makes fun of me because I take so many pictures of palm trees when I visit her in Florida. I can't help it; they make me happy.
The Black Blue Crumble in the last post looks so good. YUM!
i love that palm tree!
At this time of year a glimpse of shells and beach glass is very welcome! I love the colours in all your Florida artifacts!
Oh those are so gorgeous Sue!
Great vignette and now I am dreaming of the sea!

I thought the globe was warming.LOL. No, the climate is just becoming more crazy, probably as a result of frequent nuclear experiments.
Anyway the blue colors of the sea around you can help alleviate the longing for warm days at the beach. I like the tree and the shells.
Sue,
I love these sea glass colored items, very pretty! I am longing for the beaches on the Gulf bad!
Sherry
