Where Does The Time Go? Tabletop Tuesday

Once upon a time, my big boy was a little boy.
Even then, our family loved Mickey Mouse.

We took our little boy to Walt Disney World for his
first visit and came home with the cutest denim bib
overalls, with Mickey on the front. His picture
(in the red turtleneck) in them became
our Christmas Card that year.

Many years later, our little boy had a little boy of his own.
Knowing that someday this would happen, we saved the overalls
for when that little boy was also around 2-years-old.

On Sunday, we once again pulled out the
old Mickey overalls for my son's second son.
Time for me to buy a new picture frame!

I'm linking to Table Top Tuesday with our hostess Marty @
A Stroll Thru Life. Please visit her today!

That is very sweet!! My mom had saved a few outfits of mine for me to share with my daughter. We lost everything in a devastating house fire. My dad had a couple old things at his house. It was such a blessing!! Thanks for sharing....this really made my heart happy.

ps I found you on Table Top Tuesday! :)

Oh Sue... I just melt over the pictures of my kids when they were little.
Your idea of saving the overalls was a GREAT MOM idea!

How sweet that now you can create such a sweet memory for 'all your boys' :D

Sue, this is adorable! Two generations of MMouse overalls ... I've saved things of my kid-lings for the same reasons.

Kid-ling is darling, son was cute as a button ... time for a new frame.

TY for your Love Is... comment. Dig them out & join us on Monday's ... can't get enough of them ... the messages they share are so very solid beautiful messages of moments we've all shared in our lives. Let me know ...

Have a lovely summer's eve ~

Sue, how cute. That is wonderful that you had the forsight to save those that long. They would have gotten lost if I had done that.

Precious! My daughter recently wore my sons Thomas shirt (both 3rd b'day parties) and my mom brought up her kimono from when she lived in Japan, but my tomboy girl won't have anything to do with the kimono.
