Every single one is true!
Hey Sue
Great list.. I'd really like those scrambled eggs right now!!
PS.. i still don't like camping.. but can live without the blowdryer... and your item above about ironing??? that's about as good as i get with ironing these days.. hahaha
x Julie
me again
love your clouds!!!
A very nice list, and I like your new layout!
Julie-I have an entire post in me about ironing...I just haven't written it yet!
Wow...an excellent list. My daughter ...even sons....agree with number 11. And as far as prostate cancer goes, getting checked regularly because of family history saved my hubby's life. His numbers were very low and if he hadn't been having checks they would not have realized that they actually jumped (because they were so low). He had cancer however!...His dad got it in the 70's but my hubby got it in his early 50's!!
Your list is so true! The one about 4 waters for $10 ... reminds me of the time we were stayed at a Holiday Inn...they offered an incredible family package... but we paid the difference soda
--- small 6 oz glasses for $2 each ...no free refills (Unknowingly, my 3 kids ordered refills-- $12 for a quart's worth of flat soda).
Can you tell I'm frugal ;o)
Now that my kids are all grown and left the nest... I LOVE holding babies ~ so heartwarming.
A great list!
Hope you have a wonderful Monday~

Best wishes, NM.
What a true list! I just love it!
By the way- answering your post to me about my "button". Please try this on a testblog ( another blog I made up to test things out before I fiddle around with the "real one")
To make pictures bigger- You need to change your template. Lg pictures won't work on the kind you have now. Believe me, I tried.
You need to have a layout called "Minima".
First, you need to change your background at cutest blog on the block. You need a "stretch template". It is a plain background or a "stretch" background (they are all one design- no 2 or 3 parts to it).
Now, go to blogger and go to your dashboard. You need a layout that is called "Minima" to use big graphics. Click "layout". Go to "pick new template". The first template called Sample Blog has a minima layout. I just used the first one, because I wanted to keep a "fancier background" using the cutest blog on the block.
Now you are working with the full width of the screen and you can now make your pictures bigger.
To make bigger pictures, go to dashboard, and click "settings" then click "basics". Scroll down to "global settings" and click "updated editor". I read the tutorial, "latest feature" by clicking the blue letters next to it.
Now when you create a blog entry, the screen is going to be a little different and very user friendly. (Make sure you read "latest feature when you choose "updated editor".) When you upload a picture, you can choose the size by looking right under the picture and clicking on "extra large".
This is so much easier than changing the settings by going into the HTML. I know that I can make pictures a little bigger than I am using now,but I don't think it is worth the trouble, and the pictures fit better on the screen.
Please, before you try this on your lovely blog, make a testblog ( I called mine testblogstonegable) and try it there first.
Let me know how it goes!
Yvonne
I have to agree with everyone one of the things on this list...maybe it's because I've learned from the best...I especially like that one about becoming my mother...I think it happened a little sooner to me than to you though...
hotel shampoo = laundry detergent in a pinch.
Priceless!!
Thanks for all the comments everyone. Yvonne, I'm saving this info along with the info from "g" and will play with it for my holiday look. Thank you so much, I wondered why so many people had test blogs!
SD-everyone should be as lucky as I am to have a kid like you!
A very wise and true list here -- I wish I could say I do all of this - but great reminders all!
What a great list....especially the scrambled eggs and the heated car seats...i just wrote a post about bringing home fast food and pizza and using the heated seats to keep the food warm on the drive home....it really works...but I don't have air conditioned seats...that would be cool...literally.
these are too sweet!
