    Such a mixed bag, this day..I miss Dad so much this day also and I feel for so many Mom's who have so many losses to remember this day...and I miss my kids and just like with my Mom I don't get to see them on this day because of thousands of miles, perhaps for the rest of my life...

    Yet the joy I felt talking to them today and receiving such beautiful letters. balances out the day. Like I said mixed bag...

    Glad to see you were all together, and I'm sorry to read of your FIL's troubles. As women of "a certain age" it seems this is an all too frequent occurrence in our current stage of life.
