It just wouldn't be this time of year without a Valentine's Day table. I don't really have many Valentine items, so I just pulled together things I already had to create the look. The only thing I bought was 3 yards of red netting to put down the center of the table for $2.97 at Walmart.
The votive "set" was an after Christmas purchase at Kohls for $3.99.
I actually think it looks more like Valentine's Day than holiday.
White tulips are making frequent appearances
in my house during these freezing gray days.
Red placemats, silver chargers, large white plates, red dinner plates and frilly salad plates are layered for an elegant look. I love how the silver chargers look with my grandmother's sterling flatware.
The tulips are in a cylinder shaped vase
wrapped with scrapbook paper and tied with a bow.
Sterling candlesticks are perfect with all the other silver on the table.
My wedding goblets (Fostoria Buttercup) add a lacy look.
A Valentine table really needs to be enjoyed by candlelight!
I hope each of you gets to spend
the day with someone you love.
