A few weeks ago I found these twig and wire leaves at an area craft store. The store had one displayed with a couple of twig pumpkins sitting in it. I quickly grabbed the last two in the store, one for me and one to add to my sister's birthday presents.
I decided to add some silk fall flowers and a funky wire Halloween spider to my sister's. I simply wired the items on, no glue gun because I want her to be able to remove the decorations easily if she wants to use it for a centerpiece.
I'm using mine with pumpkins on my library table.
I'm joining Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch for Met Monday.
My simple transformation is nothing compared to
the wonderful projects you will see there!
I'm also joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sunday
That looks fantastic either way. Really nice changes.

I've never seen anything like those twig and wire leaves -- they are fantastic! They'd work, even all on their own -- so sculptural.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the wall hanging for sister -- so pretty! and your pumpkins look happily at home on their twiggy perch.
Lovely!

Both look great and I haven't seen anything like those either! I think the one with the leaves is my fave!!
ReplyDeleteSue, I love the twig leaf. It would look good in a vignette even with nothing on it. Great texture.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are one of the coolest things that I've seen this fall, and I adore your treatment. I'm going to check out my Michael's and see if they have any. Thank you for stopping by my post. Come visit anytime! Cherry Kay

ReplyDeleteHi Sue Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you are such a talented gal. Your sister is going to just love her arrangement that you made for her, and that little spider is so stinkin adorable. I love him. Is he made of bells? We have a Michaels, Jo Anns and Hobby Lobby you didn't happen to find you leaves at any of those stores did you? I so adore them.
Your pumpkins look adorable sitting on them too. You and bows. Wow is all I can say. I can only dream about making them. I have two left hands when it comes to some things, bows are one of them.
Thank you for the beautiful share today. I love it. I love coming to see what you have been up to.
Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
Very unique Sue!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen one but now I will be on the lookout for one.

Well, I think your arrangement is very attractive and original. It says that fall has arrived and that someone artistic appreciates it!
ReplyDeleteThese are both fun! What a sweet sister you are. Thanks for your very sweet visit -- I've been surprised at how many of us love our charm bracelets. I thought maybe they were all in the bottom of jewelry boxes --- maybe we should have a charm bracelet "party".
ReplyDeletevery cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so gorgeous! Have a sweet day!
ReplyDeleteSue, that is so pretty....I absolutely love it. So unusual and charming!
