It's Thursday and we all know what that means. It is time to get out our dishes and play along with Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch. Make sure you stop over to see her and check out all the wonderful table settings.
It felt like spring in the Midwest today, so I decided that even the bunnies would feel like playing among the flowers. I started with an ivory tablecloth I've had for years, lime green placemats take the place of chargers. The dark green dinner plates are from Wal-Mart. I added floral salad plates that I recently found at Kohls. I was walking past the display and I swear I heard them yell that they wanted to go home with me!
Ivory napkins with bunny napkin rings (TJ Maxx), vintage stemware and new bargain flatware (also TJ Maxx) finish the look. Do you think that little Snowbunny is trying to crawl to the rabbit napkin ring?
My grandmother's depression glass cake plate made the perfect playground for these cute little ones.
Snowbunnies don't stop playing after dark!
Oh...your table is so pretty, Sue!! Especially at night. I love Snowbunnies!! And you new dishes from Kohl's are fabulous. Isn't it funny how they call our names and we are like, well, I wasn't here for these! lol!! I love the flatware too, the pattern is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week! :-)

Hello Sue~ I just love your tablescapes... You put so much love and detail into them. Love the snow bunny kids (don't know there names) and the plates and napkin rings! Have a great night! JGG
ReplyDeleteWow! Your table looks wonderful!! I've always loved green depression glass - its so pretty and I think that green is pretty much a neutral color and blends with anything. How special that the cake plate has sentimental value for you also.
ReplyDeleteSnowbunnies are always so darling and you've got a nice little collection. Loved seeing your goodies today...

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful new plates you have to play with! I can see countless tablescapes with them! I'm not sure I've ever seen a snow bunny before, but aren't they the sweetest things. You have such a great collection. Wonderful tablescape! I had too much laundry today to prevent me from playing with my dishes...ahhh next week!

That flatware makes me happy. I'd be delighted to find it at our local TJs.
ReplyDeleteOh Sue, what a lovely table setting! Popped over to thank you for your sweet visit today and got all sidetracked with the beautiful arrangement! Wow! I'm especially lovin' the sweet bunnies! How cute are they? And the candlelight is the icing on top of everything else! Thank you for sharing this with us! It truly made my day!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I saw those same salad plates in Kohl's. They called my name but I hurried away knowing it would not make me any points at home to adopt more dishes. Seeing yours, I wish I had taken them home. They'd be happy here.
ReplyDeleteBeatiful table - love the white little bunnies...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Those plates are fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteThose snow bunnies are so cute! Your plates are wonderful ,so pretty with the raised flowers. You are lucky for having a hubby who cleans. Maybe he can train mine, lol...Christine
